Fab
Just now, Davkaus said: Some promising signs, we don't look like conceding, but we are so wasteful going forward. 2 shots on target out of 10+? And one of those was Westwood's long range effort that was never going in. At least Westwood took the shot. We just seem to timid going forward. Also, how often have we hit the post this season?! Zatman
we are awful to watch at moment, its just tedious and no tempo on a positive I think Cissokho having a solid game at left back and still take him over Amavi at moment
sonic_bouma
Are we suffering from the McCormack conundrum that Warnock described the other week? Not mobile enough to lead the line but being a number forced Ayew and grealish out wide who are not wingers. 1 person minimum has to be dropped in that front four for Adomah and I would argue even 2 so we can see amavis pace and crossing up there
sne
Not that it will be an issue anytime soon, but none of our players are Premier League quality

Yet in the second half we make every team look like Barcelona.

Sam3773
Cissokho has been great. Grealish is working hard but seems to be tripping over the ball a lot today. RDL has been solid. My only negative is Ayew. Damn he works hard and makes runs, but he just needs to look up and pass sometimes. Its his birthday so he's probably after a birthday goal. Tough. We need the win more. Pass the bloody ball. Kodjia looks brilliant so far though.
Dr_Pangloss
I give RDM until the end of the month to turns things around before considering sacking him, this really is not good enough.
spiezels
A little more cynical and a little less selfishness from Ayew and we should be 2 up at least. Games flat but they're sitting everyone behind the ball so it's not going to be free flowing.
nick76
While Ayew is one of better players he's not a team player so for me is dropped when Adomah comes in

This hasn't been good enough already and I don't see Xia being the patient type. Sad fact of the matter is that you're probably right. Dropping down to near the relegation zone (in whatever stage of the season) in unacceptable. We need a spark to get us going again and if we don't win this game, questions will be asked (even though we have bought in a lot of new players). Keener window-cleaner
Kodjia looks very promising! Very active and runs a lot, seems to have good technique and looks to turn and run at goal when he can, looks like a good target player as well. Unlucky not to score with that header. We are dominating them completely and creating chanses. No second half meltdown now please!!
chappy
Impressed by Kodjia so far, the header cleared off the line was Benteke esque
AndFos
Ayew has been involved in our big chances. A bit selfish at times, but also creates chances.
matrim
There was only one incident where I'd say that Ayew should have passed. The rest of the times he's done the right thing but just unlucky with the shots.

Vive_La_Villa
I'd consider bringing Gestede on. They are set up to grind out an ugly draw. So let's get ugly.
sharkyvilla
Just wish we could get a bit of luck or something to get us going. We're not really that far away from being a good team but the gloom still hangs over the club and seems to drag everything back a bit. Just hope we don't capitulate second half.
