So like every other post I make in this thread, basketball is on the cards everyday this weekend.

I am going out for dinner tonight with a friend. I'll visit my grandmother tomorrow. Sunday I think I'll get some study done and just chill for the remainder.

cinema to see the new Chris Morris film tonight, in theory some tennis matches tomorrow but I hope the weather postpones it cause I really can't be arsed as I have a full free weekend to myself. Plan on a full day of sleeping and watching the kinds of films* that it's normally a total waste of time trying to introduce to the other half as she appears to have film-related narcolepsy when it comes to watching another longer than an hour at home.

*no, not porn. 😛

6 hours to go then 9 days off, cant **** wait. I love my job and mental health, wouldn't swap my lot for the patient's lives either but lord do they sometimes fry your head after too long without a week off.

Got a four pack of Asahi Super Dry in the fridge waiting for me tonight.

No, this friend happens to be one of the kindest and generous in spirit people I've come across. The meeting with that friend won't go ahead.

Got 2 , 50th parties to go to on Sat

1st one with MrsH and the kids for someone from the NCT group who we've stayed in touch with   , mainly families and  thus it will involve diet coke and trying not to swear too much  .. as the other one is for one of my old best mates from school  , I have permission from MrsH to duck out at 20:30  and go on my own to that one , which will involve wall to wall vomiting and drinking shots until 6am

Sunday will involve me feeling sorry for myself vowing to never drink again

Last day of my week off today. Not done much apart from chill out and read. Weather was too rubbish to go out!

Popping in to see my parents for coffee/lunch tomorrow, over by the Wrekin and that's about it. Sunday will be spent watching the NFL and dreading my return to the office on Monday :(

Always good to have a lazy week off now and again.

Yeah definitely. Needed to recharge. Got away for a couple of days (Tue-Thu) which was nice and weather was kind to me.

Still got to take my 2 week 'core leave' in November/December so already looking forward to that!

  • 2 weeks later...

Plans have changed this morning. Was meant to pop over and see parents for lunch but the old man has just rung to say the roads into the village have flooded! So not worth it really as they have forecast rain until tonight. That's me not moving today then!

Tomorrow will be the usual food shop and clean up of my flat, as it looks a mess at the moment.
