Xela
Having a quiet weekend. Been a tough week with a gruelling interview and sales ramping up as we approach tax year end next month. Going to be eating, sleeping and trying to pin my mates down to a date for a weekend away in the next few months.
chrisp65
It's the original 6 pointer weekend. Top versus second in a league where only one team gets promoted. As part of the big match build up I shall be decanting unwanted tat to the garage and walking up the allotment to see if Doris wrecked our shed. trekka Posted February 25, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted February 25, 2017 I have an application to perfect Otherwise, I'll have a few beers this afternoon whilst watching / listening to the game, chill out tonight and then straight back onto the application tomorrow. I had a chat with my boss yesterday and his words were to the effect of "If you don't pursue this opportunity for yourself, I'll kill you. Then, if you don't marry a rich lovely American lady whilst over there, I'll kill you". My Sunday will be me writing out the application with a post-it note of that stuck on the screen.
Rugeley Villa
Got up with the kids this morning, took them the shop and park to feed the ducks, cleaned her car for her as it was a mess, done the garden, cleaned out shed, done the housework down stairs, sorted out the cupboard under the stairs and now it's music, footy and beer time. Guest av1
On Saturday, me and a couple of friends are going to a whisky convention in Birmingham. Now that alone is exciting enough, but the best bit is that we have manged to convince one of our colleagues that we are going to a charity fancy dress party after, we even had the tickets for said party made up on vista print. So on Saturday morning at 10am, my colleague is going to meet us at a whisky convention dressed as tinky winky from the telly tubbies. I hope he sees the funny side of it. lapal_fan
Got a busy one this weekend. Father in laws birthday today, so going to theirs for a meal later as they're spending the day with my lad. Tomorrow we're taking lad to Thomas Land at Drayton Manor, then the in-laws are having some friends up from Essex which they don't know about, so we'll go TGI's for a couple of drinks then eat at Fiesta Del Asado (dribble). Then on Sunday it's @Rob182's 30th (on the sat) so we're going to Go Ape to swing about and it's also my 4th Wedding Anniversary, so will probably go for a meal after that too! Monday will be sleeping at my desk
Rob182
Busy (long) weekend for me too. Yesterday I was off work and I occasionally help out with care for my nan. It seems she tried to get out of bed in the morning and had a fall, so I was there yesterday helping and cleaning up some blood from where she banged her nose Today I'm off to Wales with my fiancée to look round our wedding venues. Saturday is my birthday so I'll be waking up in a hotel at the foot of Mount Snowdon, then coming home for a meal with my family. (Nothing special, I'm not fussed about birthdays in the slightest). Then Sunday off to Go Ape with a couple of dweebs.
AlwaysAVFC
Its the first anniversary of my Grandad passing away this weekend, so travelling up to my parents when I've finished work and will be toasting his memory, i'm sure. While Back in the Midlands we're taking in Warwick castle as my Mrs little girl is leaning about Kings, queens and castles etc so thought it'd be good, might not be so much fun if its raining. Not been there since I was a kid.

Today he has brought in the costume he has hired to show us. Sadly, the fancy dress shop he went to didn't have any telly tubby outfits, so he is going as popeye instead, complete with inflatable arms. He has certainly fell for it, he has even got himself a real pipe becuse he wasn't happy with the plastic one that came with the outfit.
Wainy316
Got wedding food tasting tomorrow which should be fun. Both sets of parents are coming with us. Probably go to the casino for a flutter on Saturday night then off to New Malden on Sunday (London's Korea town) to eat, erm Korean food.

I've done it a few times and it's always worked out just fine. Met up with a bunch of guys in a hotel once. I must have gone well, I guess. Woke up two days later with forty quid tucked in my mask.
dAVe80
Catching up with my mate, who has been living in Spain for 6 months, and my ex housemate, who I've not seen since Christmas. They're talking about just having a few drinks early on in the evening, but it could easily get messy. I don't know if I'm looking forward to it or not.
