Been to dentist this evening so I'm sat at home starving and unable to eat as yet as mouth is numb from injection.

Couldnt be arsed wth OT tomorrow so a nice lie in.

On the piss tomorrow from 1. Hen and chickens for mixed grill then pub crawl in brum. We want to try out the new bierkeller (even though it means venturing to broad street:angry:) as the one in Liverpool was class and full of attractive women.

Up early tomorrow for a flight to Sri Lanka.

Sounds like it should be a nice holiday, except it's a work trip, on my own, for 3 (three) nights, and the forecast is 33C with rain, and I've got a cold so my whole body is aching.

And I arrive at 4am local time on Sunday morning.

A weekend away with the wife in bristol, without the kids too!

Had an awesome Lebanese mezze, opposite the crown court last night and planning a stroll around the city today in the hunt of more good food and the odd beer.

Have to say, Bristol centre is pretty nice especially around the water sides

Bristol is great. Whenever I'm up there for gigs there's always a decent amount of good pubs and places to see.

Well m weekends been pretty substandard, I thought I was alright with the news of my impending redundancy but its playing on my mind, I'm finding myself constantly thinking about it and I've drank more this weekend than I have in a **** long time, only thing I can put the alcohol consumption down to is the shit that I've got on my mind.

I reckon I'll more than likely have a bad head tomorrow but at the same time I'm thinking why should I give a ****.

I just can't seem to focus on anything at the moment, normally I would spend a quiet weekend playing piano, banjo, guitar, and reading and I'd be more than content but since Thursday I have been drinking pretty **** steadliy.

I'm going to say after tonight I'm not drinking other than a couple of cans on a friday night, I know what I'm like, I can't be arsed with being a functioning alcoholic who doesn't remember what life without a hangover is like again

I've had a quiet weekend, which has been nice in some respects but has given me time to think and ponder on a few things.

Not really enjoying work at the minute. Can usually take it or leave it, but at the moment I'm sick of being there and sick of some of the people I have to work with... not in my team, but in the various support functions that iI have to liaise with on a daily basis. I need to make a few changes in my life... do more stuff at weekends, start dating again, look for other jobs (have updated CV and had one unsuccessful interview so far) but i'm stuck in this cycle (I wouldn't call it a rut) of lethargy and routine. Weeks turn into months which turn into years and I'm no further forward.

So I should have spent this weekend sorting my life out but what I have I been doing? Sleeping, drooling over Korean cheerleaders on YouTube and watching Mia Khalifa porn videos.

Next weekend then...

A wasted weekend for me as I've spent it pissed out of my head. Even had a bottle of wine today to try and take the edge off. Feel like shite and it's work tomorrow -_-

I thought you were cutting back mate?

Quiet night last night, think i was asleep by 10pm!

Today... off to Manchester in a bit for beers, food and a non league game. Should be a good laugh.

Tomorrow is just the usual... food shopping, cleaning and might pop to see my parents if I get the chance.

Enjoy, I must admit I don't like Manchester in the slightest.

the whisky last night was remarkably strong it seems. Still slightly feeling it now in work - in work until 5.30 :(  quiet one generally  - though meeting up with friend this evening who I haven't seen in a while which should be fun, and then hopefully cinema trip tomorrow. Having missed a few I wanted to see of late due to lack of time, we're looking forward to Logan

FC United of Manchester?

Yeah, vs Tamworth

Game was appalling for 85 mins then livened up towards the end. Winning goal in the 93rd minute. I can actually see myself on the terrace behind the goal :)
