sharkyvilla
I hope he starts the game tomorrow at the tip of the diamond. Would be nice to see Traore play up top alongside Ayew, the movement of those three could give Norwich some headaches. If Sanchez is injured it might force Remi to gamble a little more. Guest av1
I thought we were much better yesterday after he came on, though I don't necessarily think he had a good game. Maybe it was just down to the shape of the side but we looked more threatening.

He is an absolutely nothing footballer, I don't want neat and tidy, anybody can do that. I want goal(s), assist(s), cutting edge passing, beating a man. He can't do any of those things. If he was called Charles Hill I wonder if people would see anything in him. The lengths people go to in order to go against the grain for the sake of it. Justify Gil as a footballer, word? As opposed to justifying him as a rugby player? This is almost supernova level of posting for effect.
Shaw_nuff
Now we've **** up any chance of staving off relegation, any chance he can get a couple of back to back games as an AM f he shows nothing after that then he can go. But at least we'll know.
Zatman
absolute awful, lost his man for the goal and is way too lightweight at this level
R.Bear
Best player in the world when he's not in the side.

Stevo985 Posted January 2, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted January 2, 2016 Did well second half when he was allowed to play more centrally. Wonderful goal.
Popular Post Dr_Pangloss
I thought it was a poor performance for the most part, but despite playing badly, he still made a massive effort to get around the pitch, find space and to get on the ball. This positive attitude lead to him getting space for the goal, and didn't he take it brilliantly. Contrast this attitude with Grealish, he was just as wasteful as Gil on the ball in the first half, but he did not give a shit, he did not burst a gut and frankly did not try. DCJonah
At times he was very weak and poor but like Adama he is capable of moments that change a game. Should be starting more as well.
sharkyvilla
He's technically so good, and has scored some of the loveliest goals I've seen for us in years. I just hope he gets a run in the number 10 role one day with Adama and Ayew's pace to utilise. If not, he'll do well for a mid table Spanish team. theboyangel
Cracking goal but too lightweight - although should've been awarded a free kick when we were level after being forearm smashed just outside their area. Referee was poor today.
Farlz
Was such a fantastic goal. Like mentioned wasn't his best game but he was always trying. I'll be gutted when he leaves in the summer.
Keyblade
He has along with Ayew the best attitude in our team. If only we had more of them, we wouldn't be in this position.
Popular Post StanBalaban
He is lightweight and had a poor game today, but I think a lot of that was because he was deployed as CM. His making of space and finish for the goal shows he would be an effective no.10, like a "poor-man's" David Silva. He's definitely a hard worker, but asking him to fill-in in the middle of the park didn't play to his strengths as he was constantly muscled off the ball.
GeordieVillan
He's definitely good enough to be in our team, even if he is lightweight. If we are playing with Ayew up front on his own, Gil should be no.10. This would have been more effective at Norwich. Or if we are playing a diamond, he should be behind the 2 strikers with Veretout playing from slightly deeper.

If you can't play him there don't play him at all.
