Everton are shite under Martinez. Loosing there defence every game.

That's because he's not a very good manager, last season he benefited from inheriting an organised Moyes defence, now all of their starting back 5 bar Coleman are in their 30s and beginning to decline, and Martinez is awful at building defences, which luckily for us is dragging Everton towards the bottom 3, if not this season (doubtful) Martinez will eventually take them down when Jagielka, Distin, Baines and Howard need replacing.

Although Palace and Albion aren't out of it, realistically anyone from Everton downwards is under real threat of relegation. This evenings results couldn't have been better for us.

Completely disagree with Martinez quote. Everton are still in Europa League long may they continue to be. History shows team struggle in Premier League when they have a good run in the Europa League. Liverpool, Tottenham spring to mind

Momentum is important too, and it's in our favour right now. We're the only team in the bottom eleven to have won their last game, and all but two of those teams recorded a loss.

At the start of the season if we had a way of knowing that at this stage we'd be three points of Everton, then we'd probably imagine ourselves to be doing a lot better than we have been.

Before last night, if I had to pick one team in the league that was actually worse than us, not just in terms of results but in terms of being **** dull and just shit all over, then it would be Sunderland.

The difference now is we've got a bounce, and a win. They've got nothing. In fact they've got their best player suspended due to a sex scandal.

We'll beat them. Comfortably.

Amazing what a win can do to the tone of peoples post only a day or two later  :D

This gameweek could not have been better for us, every result was perfect from Hull/Sunderland drawing to the bottom3 all losing and us winning but there is still a long way to go. Our problems haven't just disappeared overnight. Not begin a pessimist though im still buzzing from the win but people tend to get carried away.
