Do you really believe that?? For such a small nation England has a lot of influence. Look whats going on with FIFA, England had a major part in their downfall

Yeah, all those expensive designer handbags the FA bought for the wives of the FIFA delegates really show us as the heroes of this story.

Other nations fans do not rush home to watch England on TV. Therefore it won't get moved.

Not a chance. There's a 3pm, 6pm and a 9pm kick off that day. England have the 3pm slot. Theres no way it will be moved. It's a totally irrelevant match to anyone who isn't Welsh and the other games that day aren't going to move to make way for a game between the insignificant minnows of Wales and the perennial under achieving England.

Nobody gives a **** about England outside of England. We just aren't that important that we can switch our games around.

I only said it as last World cup England Italy was going to kick off at 2am and got moved forward to 11pm and changed with Ivory Coast and someone.

Anyway appears it's set as 2pm now so looks like there's an unofficial bank holiday day in June.

still a few weeks away but thought would start a thread talk about some things going on now like friendlies and squad announcements

Spain have dropped Costa and Mata and no call up for in-form Torres

It's a little interesting that they list midfielders/forwards as a single group, in that it maybe says something about current state of tactical thinking or I'm just overthinking some caffeinated marketing dept. excellence.
