Zatman
So minutes played versus the wages we have paid for him so far? Not value for money imo what about goals vs minutes

omariqy
I'd be shocked because it would mean he's fit.
HeyAnty
I'd be shocked because it would mean he's fit. Only takes one good leg to take a better corner than we are producing at minute. Actually his bad leg would be better probably.
John
Played a blinder against Burnley and scored. If he can do the same a couple of times this season it will do a lot to keep us up. He also offers us some creativity that we otherwise lack.
PaulC
Yes John but its only one game. Even Weimann has contributed more.
John
Agreed PaulC but he has not had as many opportunities as Andi has had. I think both can contribute in what is left of the season but Joe was never going to play every game and if he can give us a couple of good games (possibly off the bench) then I will take that.
PaulC
Yes but how often has been fit to play this season? Hopefully he will be able to contribute more but I'm not too optimistic.
The Fun Factory
The best I am hoping out of Cole is to be a good egg and use his experience in training to help the team through the relegation struggle we are in. He is a nice bloke but finished as a footballer- West Ham could probably have told us that when they let him go.
foreveryoung
Agree he is finished. When you get injured twice in the warm up and 3 times in training and can't last a full game, you should realise unfortunately its time to hang up your boots. Cliffy Biro
Lambert was desperate though, no money and desperately needed numbers/experience in the squad. That said an utterly useless signing, the fact that we never learn is the worst bit, any casual football fan could have told you Cole was a bad idea. He gets 2 years wages for doing absolutely nothing, more brilliant business by Villa.
poitier
Hasn't he scored nearly 8% of our league goals?
Cliffy Biro
Is that really an achievement?
Silafou's_besi_mate
Who put this guy on a two year deal? Bad piece of business. We should have done a pay per game deal with him.
dudevillaisnice
Is he still injured? Hope we somehow get rid in the summer as he will be a drain in the championship if we go down.
Brumstopdogs
Looked a poor signing when it happened and still looks a poor signing now.
samjp26
Apparently having a lot of input in team talks and training, hasn't missed a game either (even if not on the bench - which I noticed myself, actually being in the dug out when he doesn't need to be). As much as he has had issues preventing him from playing, he was arguably the most technically gifted English player for a very long time and I think his experiences and ability in general will prove to be helpful to our younger players. Personally I'd get him to start his coaching badges.
