Played well against them to be fair the other week till he went off

He played 9 minutes, touched the ball 4 times and we were awful for pretty much the entire game.

He was excellent against Burnley but didn't have chance to do anything against palace.

I think we can take positives from Joe's performance. He can still offer us a lot. Nice to see a player attempt to take on the opposition and try to create, which must be a frustrating task in this side. He looked for balls beyond the opposition defensive line which is a rare yet refreshing sight. We all know he is injury prone and past his prime etc. that said he has natural technical ability which we are lacking and could make a lot of difference. Not only on the ball but he also tried to sort out players positions going forward. Like a lot of them though we have to play to their strengths to get the best.

I thought he showed some good signs today, definitely should be starting all games for me (bar the top 5, especially away from home). His movement is so superior to the rest of our players it's laughable.

Showed some really nice flicks and tricks as well today. Who else noticed that backheel spin from Guzan's throw?? I was so close to cumming, even the Leicester fans applauded that piece of football porn

Injured for Saturday, dear oh dear

well at the start of the season I said I'd doubt if in time on the pitch this season it would equal 6 full games (540 minutes)  I think even that may be too optimistic

I'd probably say a big reason he was brought in would be to tutor some of the younger players

from his wheelchair?  How can he tutor them when he's on the bloody treatment table?

"Lads this is the tibia ,  you want to tear it here.  The fibia well thats a different beast altogether look at this snap.  Now the groin,  fabulous you can get a strain here quite easily nudge nudge wink wink.  The odd back strain comes in handy.  So homework for the week I want you to take the skeletons you have and mark on them with a felt tip all the injuries we have had.,  This will be your homework for the term as I dont expect you to complete it in one week"
