Mantis
So now Delph's injured as well? We have the worst **** luck.
KSV
a midfield of Westwood and Bacuna?? LOL. We will be lucky to grab a point. We get overrun with three in the midfield. At least by playing Holt he has put players who can whip in a cross for Holt to knock down for Wiemann. Long balls and crosses. Long day today...... AndyM3000
I was tempted to go -1 Fulham, no Delph? I am doing it. Sorry but in these games we never lose 1-0 or 2-1, its usually a surprise win or we get hammered.
Raymond
There are six defenders on the field. Where is Delph?
regular_john
Is that a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3? Looks like a middle 3 of Bennett, Bacuna and Westwood with a front three of Albrighton, Weimann and Holt. Could easily see it as Bacuna and Westwood in the middle, Albrighton and Bennett on opposite flanks (always thought Bennett was better going forwards than at the back) with Weimann and Holt up top. KSV
Sad when the two decent squad players on the bench are Robinson and Clark... He never signed them two. The rest are shit. No Helenius again? What has that boy done? It has to be personal. There's no way he's not 'ready' compared to the rest. Luna hardly looked ready. Bowery is a piece of shit. He must have a poor attitude or something. Edited April 5, 2014 by KSV

Raymond
I think it is a 4-4-2. Better question. How much coke does Helenius need to do to get a place in the squad? Bowery FFS!!!111!!1!1!1!111!!
juanpabloangel18
This is possibly as bad a line up as that match where we had a midfield of Heskey, Warnock and Clark under Big Eck.

sonic_bouma
There are only 4 players in that line up who I actually respect as footballers. 4 players FFS I hate how much our club has fallen over the past few years Our starting eleven must be the poorest in the premier league today
R.I.C.O.
Our left side is going to get murdered when Bennett tries going for the same balls as Bertrand. 6 defenders on the pitch is just diabolical. No attacking threat whatsoever apart from hoof it to Holt and hope his immobile lump can knock balls down to Weimann who has the first touch of a rapist. Whatever this "project" is that Lambert keeps going on about, I hope it ends this summer when he gets his P45.
Mantis
This is possibly as bad a line up as that match where we had a midfield of Heskey, Warnock and Clark under Big Eck. Yeah but for the most part this has been enforced by injury - Benteke, Okore, N'Zogbia, Gabby, El Ahmadi and Delph (presumably) are all out injured. 5 of those would be starting and N'Zogbia would be on the bench if fit. Everyone's moaning at Lambert and going on about "how far this club has fallen" but can people honestly not see how bad we're struggling with injuries at the moment? theboyangel
Mat Kendrick @MatKendrick 1m Fabian Delph is missing with an Achilles' problem. Villa have been unlucky with injuries, but it has exposed the lack of depth and quality.

So who is he supposed to pick today then? - it's a serious question From our usual first teamers, we have KEA, Delph, Gabby and Benteke missing, add to the injury list, Gardner, Okore, Helenius, N'Zogbia et al - we have no one left!?!?! PL, for all his faults cannot be blamed with today's enforced changes...
