The reality is that this Villa team is only marginally better than last season's. If it weren't for the utterly shambolic clubs at the bottom, we'd be relegation fodder again. Hypotheticals don't win you points. My point is that it hasn't been a rubbish performance. We created plenty of great chances but were let down by our strikers.
