I wouldn't be surprised to see it being a way to excuse part time Roman from TV for a few months. Jimmy v Jey with Solo causing havoc for a while, whilst Roman doesn't show up very often or defend again until Survivor Series in November. The PPV as a whole was awful though, the worst they've done in a long time. Only decent match was Logan Paul v Richochet. Gunther v Drew wouldn't have been bad if we hadn't seen it many times before. And MMA scripted fights don't work. That was a contender for worst match ever. Seth v Finn was let down by the ending, really spoiled it.

Hands down the best was fired back to Glen McGrath when he was bowling to a Zimbabwean who was on the larger side of big, who kept swinging and missing each of McGrath's fast balls. The lack of build is worrying. If it's a bad card or any of the matches aren't up to it the British fans have shown already they'll hijack the event and entertain themselves. If any of the wrestlers bite or get upset by it then the fans will only do it more. 77k upset fans would be a bad look for AEW.

There's definitely a fluid situation ongoing, they seem to have made most players available. We know what that was like when Lerner turned the taps off. Eventually the lack of quality in the replacements will show. I just don't think they've hit rock bottom yet in terms of squad quality, but that can/will quickly change if they carry on as they are.

Whilst I'm not a fan of them, I think what they have is still better than 6-7 other teams (on paper). Sa is a very decent keeper, and they have Dawson and Kilman as CB's. Add in quality of Hwang, Gomes, Sarabia, Nunes, Neto, and Cunha, that's a good spine. They have a decent manager at the moment too. If Lopetegui goes then I think they'd be in trouble, as they'll never get a replacement of his level.

Whilst I accept that sports washing is totally abhorrent, and this question totally ignores that side of things, but from a footballing perspective is anyone really that worried about KSA spending billions to manufacture a league to rival the Premier League? For decades now the Spanish can't match our global viewing figures even with Barca and Real being ultra successful, and France couldn't do it with Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi playing for the team in the most visited city in the world. Spending money on a small pool of players isn't going to attract fans to the SPL other than those of Arabic heritage. The teams over there have no history, and that can't be bought. It doesn't matter who plays for Villa, Man Utd, Liverpool etc, players come and go but the name of the club will always be famous. And even if the Saudi's do start poaching all the top players, wouldn't that make English football more accessible to all the other clubs again, and not just the Sky 6? Also, if the Saudi's continue to spend mega money on their own league to make it the biggest, could this spell an end of the huge investments of oil money into City, Newcastle, Chelsea, and PSG? Again, not a bad thing. Finally, and in my opinion, Saudi have to make a decision on where they're going to spend their money as the PIF isn't an unlimited source of money. It's a way of generating revenue and income beyond their oil reserves, which will hopefully soon be worth nothing as the world moves away from their reliance on fossil fuels. They can't maintain a spend like this infinitely. Players will chase the money whilst it's on offer, but I don't think the £700m deals are going to be on the table forever, just in the short term to get more eyes on the product over there.

This happens with my neighbours, who are on both sides elderly and retired. I honestly think it's because they've got nothing else to do, and the anticipation of not getting them out till the evening is too much for them. To be fair, they pull my bins in very shortly after the bin collectors have been. I felt really sorry for them during lockdown, as both sides are widowed. Is this our best ever transfer window? We've signed big players before but not this many in one window. The only other one I can compare it to would be 98/99 when we signed Merse, Dublin, Barry, Watson, and Stone. Think we got Delaney too. Anyway, this window has been amazing.

I threw the first one I had away for this reason (it caused it to stop working properly), and by cooking things for longer on a lower temp and more frequently rotating/stirring I find the build up of oil and fat is far far less and easier to clean.

I do all sorts in these, loads of types of stir fry, curry, home made chicken nuggets, cakes, even scrambled egg. Always comes out perfectly. The only drag is that it can be a pig to clean, so I will often stop the cooking to stir more frequently so nothing gets stuck to the bottom or the sides.

I just find the timing odd, and I find it very easy to believe the Tories and the Murdoch media have thrown Edwards under the bus for an alternative purpose than his indiscretions. He's a top tier presenter on the BBC, and this will be used to further undermine the institution. I couldn't agree more. We stood still for an age to watch in a mixture of silence, awe, and appreciation for the moment. Incredibly lucky. The rain had stopped and there was still a good amount of light. We were far enough away from civilization so there was no ambient noise. It really couldn't have been better.
