Reading the comments on an article on the BBC about Unai, it seems a fair number of fans are quite agreeable with grouping Gerrard and Lampard as managers with a similar ability. Great to see other team's fans waking up to this.

I worry they're over estimating how popular they are in the UK. No way they're going to sell out Wembley. It'd completely and utterly destroy their attendance record, a little over 20k. I do expect them to beat that though. Stupid to book it the same weekend as the Notting Hill Carnival. Travelling will be a nightmare.

Wow, Chelsea have problems. I understand it's worth appointing a temporary manager with more experience than the current coach, but who are the football people advising that this is a good appointment? I can't see the next few years being happy ones for their fans.

When things get tough, I pray we don't turn on him. Can't believe how much he's changed things since he's been here. Individually and collectively there's been improvement in every area. Must be great for the players working with him. In my opinion, the players look closer too. Feel good times for all!

There's going to be more crossover for sure. Would expect Conor McGregor et al to show up at a few PPV's, much like Logan Paul is now.

WWE and UFC merger announced, WWE purchased by UFC parent company endeavour Vince is hanging around though, will remain as Executive Chair. Really hoped the sale would be the end of the genetic jackhammer.

This is an appalling appointment. Palace's problem this season is scoring goals. I don't think Hodgson's sides could be described as anything more positive than 'pragmatic'. Really expect them to continue sliding down the table now.

This is brilliant for Labour though. Everybody knows he lied, and now he's (again) going to double down on those lies and act like an entitled shameless pig. Yes, he'll get away with lying and breaking the law, but he's done in the eyes of the public. He's hurting the Tories more every time he pops up. -

Took my little boy to watch Shazam Fury of the Gods last night. An absolute calamity. Plot holes galore, lots of jumping the shark moments even for a fantasy movie, and too many cheap laughs. Even the various views of families was either too on the nose or just plain hammy. And they must have paid Helen Mirren and Lucy Lui a heck of a lot of money to be the villains, their roles were appalling. Not a patch on the first one. I really hope there isn't another. No spoilers, but I genuinely came out thinking, WTF? All that said, my 11 year old loved it.

One thing is certain, there is nowhere near enough resources helping people get a diagnosis. It currently takes 6-9 months just for the first phone call to a doctor to take place, there's a huge backlog. So many children who need extra help are being let down and missing out on support for many, many years. Children at school not able to understand what's being taught, or struggling to fit in because they don't have the capacity to follow social cues. It must be awful for them. It's another Tory scandal.

Saudi are going to have to build a lot of infrastructure when they get their World Cup. I fully expect the 64 teams to be in place by then.

Am I overreacting that I feel this is an attack on free speech? Regardless of whether you agree with Linekar or not, he's got the right to say what he believes. He's not governed by the same impartiality rules as the political staff, so I think he should be able to openly state his beliefs. The problem in this instance is that his beliefs do not match the Tory agenda, and he's being targeted because of it. Very 1984.

Horses for courses. I love them. Wouldn't advise dumping on the plate though, cause a heck of a mess.
