  1. I think we're being restricted by FFP. As a result I think any big moves like Bowen our approach will be a loan to buy offer, which is probably ruling out of the market for certain players as clubs look for up front cash. I can see us ending up with somebody like Selke on one of these type arrangements.
  2. Hertha have money now and they are trying to throw it around a bit. Spent over £50m on 3 players this window.
  3. Keane was sticking up for him recently saying he needs more time.
  4. Some of their fans aren’t happy with how Mellon has treated him. Lack of game time and playing him out wide when he gets minutes apparently.
  5. One of the replies to the tweet mentioned something about Coventry taking him on.
  6. Summary from Wednesday night Hepburn-Murphy (Tranmere)Home to Sunderland (0-1) - Not in the squad. Hogan (Stoke)*Loan cancelled* *Loaned to SHA*
  7. Drinkwater is probably on the best wicket at the club at the minute. Aren't we kicking in 50% (55k pw)?
  8. I've missed a few because of spelling before. Also think it would have been up before the West Ham game, not sure if that makes a difference regarding Robertson. But I have noticed errors in the odd one.
  9. Chris Wilder has done a fantastic job with Sheffield United this season, but I wonder if some injuries will bite them at the end of the year and if they'll start falling down the table. Just because FourFourTwo have a quiz up on their website (https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/football-quiz-can-you-name-players-have-played-2000-minutes-premier-league-season) challenging you to name the 38 players who have played over 2000 PL minutes this season. Noticeably we have 0 (due to Heaton's injury) and Sheffield United have 7. That's a large core of their team who have played every or nearly every minute. Surely that pace cannot be sustained until the end of the season.
  10. Over the last 21 games they are the worst team in the league. 18 points over that period. EDIT: I'd like your post due to my dislike of CC but I've used my likes sorry.
  11. I think it was Danny Webber who was doing special comments on the feed I was watching. I believe his final verdict on Samatta was 'Doesn't look Premier League standard to me I'm afraid'. Thanks Danny.
  12. Congrats Deano! Thanks for another great moment.
  13. Summary from the night Villa made another cup final () Bree (Luton)Home to Derby (3-2) - Played 90 minutes. Assist. WhoScored.com rating of 7.32. Brunt (Gloucester City) Away at Alfreton Town (6-1) - Played 90 minutes. Doyle-Hayes (Cheltenham)Away at Bradford (1-1) - Played 90 minutes. WhoScored.com rating of 6.51. O'Hare (Coventry) Away at Fleetwood (0-0) - Came on for the 2nd half. WhoScored.com rating of 6.17.
  14. Sweet, we can take it easy for the rest of the decade now
  15. I believe that's correct for him and a lot of our youngsters. Unless something has been signed and unannounced Davis, Doyle-Hayes, Green, Hepburn-Murphy, Sarkic & O'Hare are all out of contract in the Summer.
  16. Thought Trez had blown his chance after Davis played him though a few minutes earlier, but he more than made up for it with the winner. What a ball from Elmo also! We rode our luck but thought we also played some great stuff at times also. Believe it was one of Luiz's best games for us and Targett & Grealish link up really well down the left. Great night for everyone involved with the club!
  17. Hopefully Mings & Samatta pull up alright, they looked like they both had little hamstring niggles.
  18. Grab his books if you haven't already. Had me in stitches.
  19. Having you guys been getting Haaland straight away? I'm playing the Switch version and I can agree to a fee with Salzburg but he won't even enter negotiations with me.
  20. Autodrafting 3 Man City midfielders has not worked out for me. Struggling most weeks. I'm guessing we'll be having promotion/relegation? If so, happy to drop down to Division 2 and give somebody else a shot.
  21. Not that it's gospel, but that's a very good WhoScored rating considering he didn't score/assist and he was only on for 17 minutes.
  22. Summary from the weekend Brunt (Gloucester City) Home to Southport (0-1) - Unused substitute. Hogan (Stoke)Home to Swansea (2-0) - Not in the squad. Hepburn-Murphy (Tranmere) Home to Manchester United [FA Cup] (0-6) - Came on after 73 minutes. WhoScored.com rating of 6.60. Kalinic (Toulouse) Away at Lyon (3-0) - Played 90 minutes. WhoScored.com rating of 6.10. O'Hare (Coventry) Home to SHA [FA Cup] (0-0) - Came on after 68 minutes.
  23. Terribly sad news. Especially his eldest daughter passing away with him. Both gone far too soon.
