  1. The draw for the 4th round has just made me even happier we didn't get through (yes, I know our ball number would have been different to Fulham's but still...). League Cup SF & the Premier League is enough for us to concentrate on in our current state.
  2. Happy to be proven wrong, but I don't think we'll manage to be undefeated in our last 8 fixtures like you have us. If anything this has made me more pessimistic.
  3. Over the holidays finally got to put some time into Pokemon Let's Go. Got all the badges and beat the Elite 4. Now only 3 Pokemon away from getting the original 150 in the Pokedex and them I'll move on. I must admit I did find it extremely easy, pretty sure I didn't not blackout once in battle. Would have enjoyed a bit more of a challenge, but overall thought it was a nice update of a classic. What should I move onto next, Links Awakening or Super Mario Odyssey?

  5. According to Gregg Evans he's been linked with a move to a couple of Championship clubs, but would have to take a big pay cut. Do we keep him around for depth, although he can't cut it at this level or do we get his wages off the books whilst we have the chance?
  6. Need to get back to Villa Park with the tie not out of hand, and then who knows.
  7. Clearly exposing Dean Smith's fallacy in managing Wesley. It's not hard Dean!
  8. Unwelcome distraction this game. Get through it with no injuries please.
  9. In rather good spirits considering we’re in a relegation battle.

  11. Notched up 100 appearances for us I believe.
  12. Sorry taking a short Christmas break. Will have this back up to date within the next week or so.
  13. Absolutely terrified about what might transpire.
  14. Back to back group winning weeks for me. If only my other 14 weeks hadn’t been utter shite...
  15. Me too. I was putting my lack of success down to bad luck. Turns out you have to be intelligent and put in time & effort.
  16. Somewhat Regular Premier League Tidbits We've played Southampton 34 times in the Premier League for a record of 13 wins, 9 draws & 12 defeats, scoring 1.26 GPG and conceding 1.38 GPG with an average of 1.41 points per game. In our relegation season we lost to them 2-4 at Villa Park with Ashley Westwood scoring twice. Here's an excerpt from the BBC match report you can be glad we never have to deal with again: In fact we haven't beaten Southampton in the Premier League at Villa Park since they rejoined the division in 2012/13 with our last victory coming back in the 2004/05 season via a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Darius Vassell & Carlton Cole on opening day.
  17. I looked it up after posting, can’t remember exactly when but he’s scored against us twice according to transfermarkt. Once from the spot.
  18. No basis for it, but Danny Ings seems like the kind of player who will score against us regularly.
  19. Another team I have a soft spot for and has moved out of the relegation zone with a win today is Koln. Hope the Billy Goats manage to stay up.
  20. There is so many, so I'll try to avoid the obvious ones and mention a few others that are yet to be. The Ross McCormack Gategate saga. The Lescott tweet. Losing Dalian, Ugo & Jlloyd far too early.
  21. From what I've heard, one of his assistants I is the "brains" behind the operation and he's more the motivator.
