  1. No mention of Cash being out, so guess he’s fit to play?
  2. Like your team but imagine you’re spot on with what Gerrard will pick unfortunately.
  3. In every day life you see, hear and unfortunately meet some really disgusting people. No different on here.
  4. She’s taken and shared the very best of the British nation during her reign. Not really much else to say.
  5. “I declare before you all that my whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great Imperial family to which we all belong". (Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll on her 21st Birthday in Cape Town, South Africa.) An incredible individual who has embodied the soul of the British Nation for the past 70 years, she has reigned with total dignity and grace through the huge societal and cultural change which defined the second half of the 20th century into the 21st. Her dedication to duty serves as an example to us all. May she Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
  6. Conducted her role with true dignity. A true icon. RIP.
  7. Rachel Daly played and scored for England Ladies last night. She should hopefully have a really good season with us. A little surprised that our official website hasn’t acknowledged her performance and goal from last night? Perhaps they’ll put something up later today.
  8. Muzzy Izzet - we’d have won the domestic league and the champions league. #ingregorywetrust
  9. If the rumour is to be believed, Purslow put a £40m valuation on Dougie which Arsenal wasn’t prepared to pay? I don’t think £40m for an established Premier League player and international is that high to be honest.
  10. Sign an improved contract now with a buy out clause inserted (similar to Grealish), then everyone knows where they stand. Set the buy out at £40m perhaps?

He’s going to be 34 in October and the fact that nobody has taken him already probably says it all. Remember Grant Holt for us.

Looks like the new striker has done his ACL and is going to be out for a while. Jimenez still appears to have fitness issues, so goals won’t come easy for them this season. However, with a decent midfield and defence, they won’t concede many which will keep them out of trouble I reckon.
  13. I thought it was watchable but it felt more like an ITV 9pm drama. It doesn't do anything particularly new but it has enough suspense, tension and interesting scenes to justify its own existence. There are some really weird time jumps though, the editing is far from perfect and the "ending" was just too quick, and lacked the emotional punch that it should have had. It was almost as if it needed to be under two hours, someone forgot this and then realised, so wrapped it up quickly? All in all it was ok but easily forgettable.
  14. Just a feeling but can see Newcastle throwing millions to get him in the next 12/18 months.
  15. Next couple of games are crucial for him. We need to remain unbeaten and obtain four or six points really. The type of performances we put in will also be important. I’ve still got doubts that yesterday was a turning point for him but I’ll happily be proved wrong.
  16. Not many better places, especially when it’s an evening game. It doesn’t take much for the crowd to get going but they do need to see something on the pitch in the first instance. Yesterday it was Young taking the ball off De Bruyne and passing it to Luiz, who then played a great ball to Watkins. Villa Park is a fine place when it’s rocking. We just haven’t seen enough of it over the last 12/18 months.
  17. I still maintain that there aren’t many better English CB’s right now and we’re quite fortunate to have him. The world cup isn’t that far away and when you look at our other CB options (Stones, White, Tomori, Maguire, Mitchell, Coady, etc), Mings belongs in that group for sure.
  18. Could be very close with this and it looks good to me. Cash probably won’t make it, so Young is the obvious choice at present. Konsa or Bednarek? Gerrard probably will stick with Konsa for now. I’d like to see Dendoncker as well but will he just go with McGinn again?
  19. We looked better yesterday with our shape and balance. By no means perfect though, as the left side is still an issue. Now Ramsey could do a job for now but in January or next summer we need to address the left sided forward issue. Not the place here I know, but if Leicester don’t improve from their slump I’d be keeping a close eye on Harvey Barnes, who would be very good for us I reckon. Just hope Gerrard now sees and understands the importance of having Kamara and Luiz together right now? Add Dendoncker to this and we could finally have solved our midfield woes.
  20. It also takes the pressure off him a little being further forward, where in a midfield three he’s having to be extremely disciplined. It’s almost taking the shackles off him somewhat.
  21. We may just have found a new role for him, which suits all of of us right now.
  22. He’d probably benefit from being our super sub for a bit. 15 minutes to go and bring him on to be a nuisance. Sadly starting John right now is becoming a hindrance.
