Currently losing their 4th in a row at home, there current home form is worse than ours, we could definitely get a win when we go there.

Sorry but no.

We roll over for anyone on a bad run, with a striker who hasn't scored for months, for a manager who's never beat us, for a team that hasn't kept a clean sheet, etc etc ad nauseum

Last three games they've lost 10-0 so rivalling us from last xmas and they haven't scored a goal since Jan 18th.

Shame we can't actually play them this weekend but shows how important Cabaye was, he knitted things together for them. Only caution is that Remy will be back for our game so they won't play jokers like the Ameobi's and they might get the likes of Tiote and Coloccini back aswell.

I think most fans think this about their respective clubs. Same as 'We never win on Sky', 'Match of the Day hate us', and 'WDFAFC'

We do have a talent for providing players/clubs with milestones. Kevin Nolan is a new member of the 'scored most goals against Aston Villa' club.

Every unlikeable player in premier league history has that record.

Never said we did brilliantly, but according to some we were supposed to roll over and lose 3-0.

Vince McMahon linked with a buyout of club :D

Link.

Can you smell what the Toon are cooking? World Wrestling Entertainment owner Vince McMahon apparently can, and he’s allegedly gearing up (again) for a Newcastle United takeover bid.

That’s right – the WWE supremo is supposedly ‘sniffing around’ the Magpies after news reached him that Mike Ashley wants to tombstone his stake in the St James’ Park outfit.

A Newcastle source told British website Winner Sports: ‘Vince McMahon has been sniffing around the club and seems keen on pursuing his interest.

‘He sees England as an untapped market for his wrestling empire. He has even indicated he could put on wrestling bouts at St James’s Park

‘Obviously it is very early days but there is hope the fans may get what they want with Ashley leaving. Buying a club like Newcastle would throw him into the spotlight in England which is just what he is looking to do.’

The news is likely to hit Toon fans like a flying elbow-drop off the top rope, but this isn’t the first time McMahon has been linked with a move for the Magpies, and just like back in 2011, it’s expected that club officials will brand the story as nothing but ‘nonsense’.

Still, that hasn’t stopped Twitter users envisaging one hell of a line up for Newcastle next season under McMahon’s rule.

Chalk up another VT thread that gets sidetracked into talking about wrassling!

Remember when Vince started that stupid American Football League thing? Yeah he'd get shot quickly if things weren'y working out, and even so I can't see any truth in it, probably just a work.
