holtend4life
I think people are underestimating how rotten the core is at Sunderland. Reminds me of Wolves a few years ago when they double dipped. Edited September 30, 2017 by holtend4life
Czechlad
Sunderland's home record for this year: That is pretty bad. I didn't even realize they are 23rd in the league.

Demitri_C
Sunderland have incredibly managed to embarrass themselves even worse than we have. They are in massive massive trouble. grayson what have you done ?

Few games this season they have not announced the real attendance. They have Bolton at home tomorrow which will be a very low crowd. Also a crucial 6 pointer for them considering Bolton are the only team below them in the table.

VillaChris
Think Sunderland will get relegated. They needed a proper clearout. I looked at their team at the weekend and still O'Shea, Kone, N'dong and Cattermole are all playing still. It was obvious they couldn't be bothered last season and it has continued this year. Demitri_C
I think they will survive. Bolton, burton Nd either brentford/barnsley will be joining them

I assume it's like at Arsenal where all season ticket holders are counted as having attended every game even when they aren't there.

All clubs have two figures for attendances - "tickets sold" and "actual number of people in the ground". Generally it's the "tickets sold" figures which get published. Rugeley Villa
Celtic were the worst for doing that. Announcing 50k gates but only 20 odd thousand there.
fightoffyour Posted October 31, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted October 31, 2017 Losing at home to Bolton, who would leapfrog Sunderland to send them bottom of the table if the result doesn't change and the goalscorer was none other than Geordie academy graduate, Sammy Ameobi. Ouch.
