How big is their squad? And how fit? That is a shitload of running they are doing.

Impressive and well played, but can they maintain it? Or are they adaptable?

5 subs will help sustain it better than ever before.

The article is good, but the ranking seems too low. Guardian writers pegging Leeds at finishing at 18th doesn't surprise me, but I think Leeds are going to do much better than last year. Marsch's system is going to be fun to watch in the PL. Marsch will grow on the fans with some wins.

As I suspected ... season's far from over, but ...

Let’s see where they sit come ten games or so. It’s going to be a very tight league in the bottom to middle half.

It will - which why it’s massively in any teams favour to start well and beat the teams you’re competing with.

Just watched Brentford-Leeds.

Boy, I hope their defence plays like that against us.

As for Bamford, clearing the ball away from the goal line for his own team...

Wasn't the first foul (clear shirt pull) outside the box?

It was outside, then the foul in the bix was even more blatent.

Then he gave brentford a foul for something even less than both those fouls. Blatent and utter bullshit referring. Leeds were totally shafted

Isn't the correct decision a free kick, as that was the first offence they didn't gain advantage from?

Not being awarded a free kick at a side edge of the box doesn't equal 'totally shafted', surely? Probably no worse than a goal kick awarded instead of a corner.

The one outaide the bix was minimal though  the one in the box was blatent yet neither was given. Then he gave brentford a free kick for a foul that was softer than both of those. We would be raging if that happened against us

But if we're reviewing incorrect decisions in the same phase of play, the referee should have played advantage after the clear shirt pull and then awarded a free kick after no immediate advantage was gained. Subsequently not giving a penalty and then,  subsequently again, giving a soft free kick for Brentford is irrelevant if the correct rules were applied - a free kick for the first offence after no advantage was gained.

Teams can't just pick the offence that suits.

If he plays the advantage then he gives the penalty  for the follow up. You cant play the advantage on two fouls

It was a generally a poor referring decision
