It is regarded as a skill set but just feels wrong to me.

So glad my team rarely tries it 😇

True, your team specialises in blatant dives with zero contact to get people sent off or to win penalties.

Cheating FFP  :crylaugh:

These guys suddenly become football lawyers? What's the evidence for that? I've never seen such naked jealousy from a set of fans. At least Wolves' fans were arrogant because they were genuinely better than us for 3 years. Same with West Brom a decade ago.

I love shit like that, my Leeds supporting uncle and brother are very much in that gang

"What have villa ever done? Leeds got to a CL semi final and finished 3rd in the PL"

"but you ruined your club for 30 years doing that... And villa won the European Cup and finished 2nd in the PL..."

"villa fans, always living in the past"

Special breed

Most fans are like that to an extent, to be fair.  We sing about a competition that we won before I was even born.

We don't sing about coming close in it!

And what I meant was it's more that the celebrate "achieving" something that ruined them, like at least they gave it a go type thing

This just reminded me of something. Remember Bristol City fans' obsession with us? They had a huge thread on our FFP situation. What a weird club. Their manager was a weirdo too.

Yeah, that was crazy. They really went loopy.

Why is FFP even being mentioned? I've never heard any official talk about our FFP situation or any sort of genuine indication that we've breached it in some way. It's only other fan bases that ever seen to mention it.

Talking about Leeds being despicable, remember when Bamford got El Ghazi sent off with a ridiculous dive? That's pretty much set the tone for my opinion of them. I expect that sort of nonsense from them every time they play.

I couldn't care less what they think of Grealish either. He makes it damn near impossible to tackle him without making contact. Maybe opposition defenders should learn how to not do that.

It's wishful thinking. We haven't breached anything. It would be public knowledge if we did, and we'd be punished just like everyone else who did.

If Jack wasn't so amazing at winning fouls, we'd probably have been relegated last year. It relieves pressure on the defence, which we already had too much of as it was.

Because people were convinced that out spending would lead to FFP problems but they never took in to account the savings we were making with the wage bill

We got rid of around 5 or 6 players on £50k a week+ when we went down and then somehow managed to do somethibg similar after promotion too, Glen Whelan and jedinak were earning more than Luiz and Nakamba do (or did)

we have our wages under control which in turn goes a long way to getting FFP under control but fans can't look past the spending headlines

I understand why teams got pissed at us in the Championship whether we broke the rules or not, teams battle for years trying to get out and we went down and splashed cash left right and centre.

This. This is why having Leeds back is more fun than Norwich.

They're horrible. It's what I like about them.

Agreed. Love them or hate them I would rather have Leeds in the Prem than Norwich or Bournemouth....

I love the way we are always super dirty & cheats even when we're clearly not.

Which manager told his players to allow villa to score?

Why does a cheat do that? 😃

Bielsa isn't a cheat. He's a decent manager, and from what we've seen, an honourable and decent man. Which goes some way to explain why even he was pissed off with your team's antics on that day.

No comment on the videos, I note.

What Bamford did is one of the worst examples of cheating I've seen in years. How can you possibly defend it?

Ayling's dive this season is one of the worst all season.

Then there is the whole spy gate issue?

Own what you are.

When we were in financial trouble there was a Leeds fan in the thread saying Leeds fans can help work it out.

Bt can have merit - I don't see Bielsa Leeds as dirty. A number of Leeds players have been and are cheats  - as in simulation. Bamford clearly  - to an extent where it's embarrassing. All teams have players who will make the most of contact to gain their side a free kick, but a few times Leeds have tried to get people sent off with no contact at all. That's what fans generally dislike intensely.

Bielsa seems a thoroughly sound man. He's working In a culture which is different to the places he's worked in before, so some disparities are to be expected. The outcry about spying I didn't get at all, for example.

I think it's kind of in the DNA of Leeds not to be popular with other clubs or sets of fans. That's fine. And I guess with that comes the inevitable response. I admire the way the team plays football, I like it a lot, it's entertaining and adventurous and the right way. Apart from the acting part.

Bamford did cheat, yes & I don't defend it.

Aylings dive at home to leicester? Yep wrong & won nothing football wise.

So I do admit to the clear ones but it seems you lot never see the grealish ones even when clear no contact videos are shown!

As I put earlier, the var should be examined post games & retrograde bans put in place.

Also motd lot should stop using the phrase 'he won a free kick'

Only one manager has ever said in the media that we win lots of free kicks and sure Leeds fans dont consider this as was mentioned by the school teacher
