Everytime I see this thread at the top of the page I get the faintest flicker of hope there is a club out there stupid enough to take this wastrel off our hands.

He's disappointing me even in that.

On those wages! No chance! He'll be here until the end

I don't think so. He hasn't scored in 40 and struggles with hoof balls. Hogan did enough hassling for the team up front.

oh yeah not as a starter but we took Hogan and Kodjia off, Gabby would probably have been better option up top than Adomah. think he would have held it up better at least

Yeah Gabby off the bench would have been handy.

All the money we have spent, and we had to bring on a wide player upfront.

No. The best option up front would have been Kodjia or Hogan. Why in God's name would he think that taking both of them off would be a good move.

Can't see a way back for him anymore. He'll be out for the remainder of the season, and in the summer we'll (hopefully) get a new manager in.

So long Gabby, you won't be missed!

I can give you 55,000 reasons why he will be here next year.

The only way I see him moving on is if a PL club come in for him

they pay him 30kpw we offset the 25kpw (52x25.000=1.3mill) with the transfer fee of anything above 1mill the give Gaby his 1.3mill

Just read that back now

who'd pay 1mill+ & 30k pw?

(a 2 year contract minimum to motivate him for the move)

He was asked yesterday on instagram who the best player he'd played with was.

Gareth Barry apparently.

Them that we're around, would probably have said the same.

We have never been close to replacing him.
