Calls herself a racist?

Everyone knows it's the chinky's who eat cats...

Allegedly.

Cat meat is eaten in Vietnam. It's 'banned' but served at loads of places.

'Thit meo' is cat meat. It's pronounced 'tit mew', ironically somewhat similar to the sound of a cat.

Not a pakistani here but it's just been used as a derogatory insult, often targeted at anyone of similar asian appearance I think. It's a very loaded word at best, basically. ( It is definitely not the same as using brit as an abridgement of british for example! )

The word doesn't matter. it's how it's used.

The word could be "ice cream" for all it matters. If it's been used as a derogatory word against people of a certain race, then it's offensive.

How the **** do I meet these women.

So I'm talking to this girl, and we're getting on great, she's veggie, loves games and stuff, and she's pretty cute, then somehow the topic of me taking one of my cats to Birmingham to see a specialist vet comes up, and she comes out with "you want to be careful taking him there, the pakis will eat him"

How the actual **** is it possible that that's a thing that someone would say. Jesus **** christ, I'll stick to porn.

You and Nazis mate

Do you happen to have a swastika tattooed on your forehead?

And the best thing about it all is that it's actually perfect timing to get completely distracted away from football!!!

I've been with someone since the start of the season and it's been a godsend, as it has taken my mind off the state we are in, a lot of the time.

I won't be telling her that though as I've learned from my mistake from when I text her that I was nearly as nervous before the blues cup game as I was before our first date. Which she converted to me comparing her with a football match and was pissed off.

Well over the past I don't know, 3 or 4 years I've been posting in this thread about all the various dates I've had and how they've all ultimately failed, and also asked for much advice from you VT'ers. Well a month ago I started dating someone who I was very unsure about early on (from their online profile) but turns out from the moment we met we actually get on like a house on fire and things are going really well and I'm very happy with it. We're incredibly similar and share similar interests and it really just works. Early days yet, but it's all very promising!!

So I wanted to say thank you for all the advice over the past few years! Also, if I can manage to find someone with a face full of pie, then there's no reason why anyone else can't so keep on trying :)

EDIT: And the best thing about it all is that it's actually perfect timing to get completely distracted away from football!!!

Sounds very similar to where I am at, happy for you mate!! Hopefully works out for you. You should ask her to go to a game with you see how she responds to that. if she is dead against it but making you go to things she likes that you hate be wary. As my ex was like that, starts off ok but then gradually it gets worse.

My current girl has said she is definitely up for coming to a game even though she doesnt really like footie as she knows I like it, which is the kind of girl I like :)

Thank you buddy! Hope the same for you!

We've kinda already spoken about it and we agreed that it's definitely for the best if we have our own activities we like to do without each other otherwise you just spend all your time together. So I have football and she has horse riding, there's absolutely no way I'm going to go and get involved with anything horse riding related and I don't think she would expect it either. She's pretty chilled out so I really don't expect her to want me to do something that I don't want to. :)

To be fair, I went along with my now wife and mom to a horse riding thing - it was embarrassing at first, but it was actually pretty fun.  And all we were doing was going round in a circle in a big barn thing - I felt like John Martson B)

Yup i'm completely not a fan of them either. If she ever gets arsey about it then she can shove it, but I don't think she's that kinda girl! Guess time will tell.

We actually met on eHarmoney which is really strange because it's awful!! About 2 years ago I saw they had a special offer on stating "Buy one year get one free", so there's me thinking a paid service is surely better than the free sites but it's truly horrific. I barely logged in to the site after the first few months. Then around Christmas time I had a pretty much given up on dating for a while and I received an e-mail from eHarmoney saying I received a message (for the first time), So on one hand it's a woeful site barely matching you with anyone (there's no search feature to look for people), but then on the other it did work so I guess it shouldn't slate it too much.
