It wasn't an easy job, desperate lack of talent available but the ambition, the style, the attitude towards change or implementing a system for the future was truly **** pathetic. There is accepting losses and poor performances as part of a bigger plan or picture and then there is just accepting losses whilst doing the same shit that is benefitting nobody. A total waste of 2 years. It actually enrages me and I don't even support Ireland, despite my family all coming from there. Coaches and managers just stealing a **** living. At Sunderland everyone knew MON was never there, he was never on the training pitch. If either of them work again in football I will be truly amazed. *Discounting either of them taking charge of someone like Iran or Jordan in the near future. Think Ireland had 3 shots on target in entire Nations League. A bit like the Bruce effect at Villa. If we can get someone with any kind of a philosphy that isn't to defend to the death, then we'll be OK. We'll never be world beaters, but the **** dirge we were being served up was way below the worst of what Steve Bruce dished out.
