Should've played him in the LC semi-finals.

Brilliant again today.

pretty sure he wouldnt have made a difference

You're joking right? First of all Guzan is just a better goalkeeper and second of all he's much better at commanding his area and claiming balls.

well 1st 2 goals came from half cleared corners. 3rd goal the corner went to about the penalty spot and the goal at VP Vlaar should have cleared.

Put it this way Fellaini 2nd goal lsat week was similar to Hanson goal so who is to say Big Brad would have got it

I'm not saying Given was entirely to blame for those set-piece goals but he's one of the main reasons why. Given is a good shot stopper but he's always stuck on his line.

I'm just wondering if you'd be saying the same thing if Given was English.

Just watching it on the DVR and he was immense those last five minutes. It was going to be a repeat of Everton all over again, but he made some snap saves and came out for plenty of balls.

After a season of picking the ball out of his own net, witnessing first hand some shambolic defending, and corner after corner thrown at him, the fact that he's still kept his head up and saved the game at the end there speaks volumes of his character. I think Howard will stay on for the US for 2016, but after that, it's time for Guzan.

his nationality is irrelevant, Have said already Guzan has been better goalkeeper at the moment than Given. Just think Given, like Ireland, Bannan, Bent and N'Zogbia is an easy target for fans

Anyone who isn't pulling their weight deserves to be an easy target.

i'd prefer him to given without doubt

You live on a different planet to everyone else, that much is becoming plain to see.

Seriously?

Why??

given is old, he can't command his area and never comes for crosses, guzan is younger and more agile
Guzan comes for crosses? have you honestly watched him play?, like honesssssttttlllyyyy......you can admit it if you havent, we wont hold it against you.
he does more than given

:) :) :)

That. Guzan in those games wouldn't have made a difference.

The first Bradford goal at their place is the only one he might have done better with. But that's a big MIGHT.
