PieFacE Posted March 14 VT Supporter Share Posted March 14 (edited) I just can't put the new Chelsea Wolfe record down at all. Starting to feel it might be her best work yet with every listen. Loving the industrial sound to it, especially off the back of her more stripped down album "Birth of Violence". Kinda thought she was going to go the way of Nick Cave and continue getting more and more stripped down with each release, but her new record is a complete 180. Album of the year so far. bickster Posted March 15 Moderator Share Posted March 15 John Coltrane - A Love Supreme. Only today I discovered that this copy is a dodgy unofficial Russian release. Which kind of answers the question about why it was rather cheap to buy (pre-sanctions). It’s pissed me off a little tbh.

bickster Posted March 17 Moderator Share Posted March 17 BC Camplight - The Last Rotation of Earth Yes some large chap with a beard vandalised it just after I bought it at the gig It should also be noted that the band, selling their own album, presumably on sale or return to the record company, can afford to sell their current album from the merch stall at £20
bickster Posted March 17 Moderator Share Posted March 17 Specifically sides C and D (because I wanted to listen to Silly Games by Janet Kay) Dennis Bovell - The Dubmaster. Career spanning anthology of one of the two best British Dub Producers and without Bovell its doubtful that Adrian Sherwood would have got started (Bovell showed him the ropes early on

I got my copy of that by buying enough cereal to get tokens to get a free chart album It's also the most flimsy groove jammed record I own and it plays just fine. These days it would be a double album with a gatefold sleeve on 180g vinyl

Popular Post bickster Posted March 20 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted March 20 Covers albums don’t come much better than this Kicking Against the Pricks - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds It seems this is one of those albums I have on both vinyl and CD as it’s one of those that I couldn’t be without when I didn’t have a turntable. Vinyl and Cover both in excellent condition still
