Milfner
Mannequin Pussy - I Got Heaven. Yeah, it's a banger. First half of the album is so strong. Edited April 2 by Milfner

This album is currently in heavy rotation for me. Really like it, with one exception. The track "Lets get to work". Has the lyrics... Quote Ladies and gentlemen This one goes out to all the dreamers The don't-stop-believers That didn't-even-cry-when-you-dropped-your-Custard-Creamers Remember You're not a has-been You're a Heinz bean And it makes me throw up a little bit each time Other than that the album is ace. The track "999" is a belter. Edited April 3 by PieFacE
bickster Posted April 3 Moderator Share Posted April 3 Idles - Tangk As someone who wasn't particularly a fan of their over shouty previous output (but liked the idea of them), I find myself listening to this a lot these days Nigel Godrich's influence on the production definitely means its something I listen to in the house whereas with their previous stuff I really wouldn't have. Big tick from me for this album, I see it as a complete step change for them

Big tick from me for this album, I see it as a complete step change for them I can see what they're trying to do with the new album and I did get into it (eventually). But i'd be lying if I said that I didn't miss the angry shouty IDLES though.

theboyangel
The follow up to 2022's Children of Scorpio and it's absolutely delightful (even on a grey, wet saturday morning) If you like morricone-esque, European psychedelic woozy songs that wash over you - this is for you.
