jacketspuds
Merse just mentioned getting Joe Cole from Liverpool for No. 10. **** right off. He'd be injured for most of the season.
Bazdavies79
Poor player, terrible attitude. Strolled around the pitch a few times and got voted MOTM on here, it's a crazy world.

SikhInTrinity
Nope on the bench in a 3-1 loss to OM! They have M'Villa still so don't think he'll get that much game time anyway.

AndyM3000
Hes the exact same player as KEA is. Passes the ball around, makes a lot of fouls, gets booked. Everyone is creaming over how well KEA has done so far and before the game against West Ham the last player to complete as many passes as KEA did in that match was Makoun for us v Utd. We could play Bannan/Ireland/Makoun/KEA and nobody would get the ball of them.

Makoun also chose not to come back, he didn't want to be here, face facts.
PompeyVillan
The sad thing is potentially Makoun may have fitted into Lambert's new style of play. But as Bickster points out, he never really wanted to be here, and who can blame him with the team he came into.
VillaChris
A shame as I thought he would be a potentially good player for us. Would just go down as another Berson.

One which had just finished sixth only a few months early. Then we added Darren Bent.
briny_ear
There's a question mark about whether he ever learnt even basic English. If he didn't, he would have found it really hard to be part of the team.

Ulver
I have to agree he's exactly the same player as KEA is, simple pass and move football. No frills. The only difference being we now have a manager trying to play that kind of football

The only difference being we now have a manager trying to play that kind of football KEA seems to have more energy and presence. Makoun seemed very lightweight. Ive heard a condition that Makoun had put in his Rennes contract that he must spend a certain amount of games as a non playing sub - its working out nice for the useless pile of crap ........ He shags ugly munters as well
