If true why the u-turn again. Surely it can't be anything to do with Benteke leaving as that was a probability. Is Delph Bi-polar or something?

They made him a offer he couldn't refuse.

So he did,  so they made him a bigger one

I said last week that it was a no-brainer for him to go City, and I wished him well, as signing the contract in January gave us a boost when we needed it, and also gave us £8m now. I even didn't hold his comments in January against him.

But if he was to leave now, after making that statement last week - he's made himself look like a proper tit. He will be one of the most hated players in football, not just by Villa fans. I hope its not true as he will have gone from being a decent honest loyal pro, to a total scumbag.

We need somebody to do a comedy mock up of Aguero in Tim Sherwood's office. Preferably in MS Paint. Then tweet it to the Birmingham Mail.

Calling Gareth to the thread...

"Aguero was set to sign for Villa but failed the medical due to his dodgy knees"

Don't blame me!

IF he goes he isn't irreplaceable, even though he is very good, not sure is he good enough for Man City though so I'm kinda surprised they're after him.

He's good because he plays for us.

Edit - how'd you put pictures in here?

English and cheap. 8 million for English international no matter how you look is bargain..

And their CM options have been disappoitning, Fernando has been a flop, Fernandinho average last year. Definitely good player to have in squad, and helps them with qouta of home grown players...preety logical move for me, especially with the small fee involved.

Ah good points, and we should be able to get good replacement abroad for him for the 8-9 million.

This @harj04 guy has a post from last week about winning easy money on Delph staying...

That was last week. He's since said that there's no good news this time.

Man City won't take no for an answer. Money talks, unfortunately.

You're a relegation threatened club who has just sold their best player and a team that has won 2 titles in 4 years has just put in for him.  If you think this is about money then you're just not paying attention.

to be fair you didn't win one of them you just got lucky that QPR hate Man U as much as the rest of us  :)

Oh right, seems I was fooled by the trophy presentation, giving medals out and subsequent open topped bus parade into thinking that we won it.

wow are you still here? Don't you have your own team forum to talk uninteresting bollocks on?

I do but I'm busy reading the uninteresting bollocks on VT at the moment
