Or, having never played for a different club, he might flounder and struggle when he’s not the big boy anymore. We’ve seen it happen. And now, the offer has been made (though might not be currently strictly on the terms we want), and we're waiting for Jack to come back to have a discussion with him and try and persuade him to stay and get a general picture for where his head is at. But what I will say about this whole thing is, if there was one player I would want us to sign to be Jack's replacement, it would have been Buendia. And we've already got him. So if he does leave, it gives us a real opportunity to continue improving different areas of the squad. Albeit without Jack involved which is kinda sad but it's just whatever at this point.
