sne Posted March 3, 2023 Share Posted March 3, 2023 Been less than impressed by most of the stuff Amazon has churned out, especially the fantasy stuff but there is always hope they get something right. Apparently they've bought the rights to The Day of the Triffids which could be great if done right. Johan Renck is attached who's done some good stuff especially Chernobyl. ( He's also doing the Dune prequel series Dune: The Sisterhood.) Amazon are apparently also about to release a extremely expensive spy show called The Citadel. I have just noticed today that there was a court case going on in last few weeks and has just come to its conclusion.It’s about the Alex Murdtaugh murder trial. I'd heard of her before watching it but not him. It is really good with some great acting from Jessica Chastain and Michael Shannon in the lead roles. I thought his acting was excellent, you actually felt exhausted just looking at him. I'm really going to miss this show. Scoot McNairy never fails to deliver.
