Yeah I was almost the same, I think it's one of those where it deliberately confuses you in the first couple of episodes. You're left thinking "What the **** is going on?". Rodders Posted November 9, 2022 Share Posted November 9, 2022 finally got there, but finally finished season 1 of the Wire. Only took about 9 months. Not bad, but requires some hard yards to get there. Will pick up season 2 next year. It's obviously good television, but I'm so rarely in the mood to actively choose an episode of the wire over other easier or more entertaining options. It is about the Watergate scandal but focuses on some on those leser known who were involved and the impact on their lives. I like how they play actors and dont take it so seriously but at the same time get involved in the wrexham community. They are good guys. Its also got some really good comedy.
