Any good coming of age films to watch? Fancy something uplifting.

Submarine

500 Days of Summer

Safety not Guaranteed

Moonrise Kingdom

Ginger and Rosa

My Brother the Devil

Borrowed Time

We are the Best

Fill the Void

Squid and the Whale

Still Walking

The Wackness

Joe

Mud

Perks of being a Wallflower

Lars and the Real Girl

Radio Days

I Wish

The Lookout

Terri

Garden State

King of California

Mysterious Skin*

*(although it's not exactly uplifting, and is a very hard watch but it's also completely fantastic)

Not sure Safety Not Guaranteed is a coming of age movie?

More so than Interview with a Vampire :P

No, it's not really a coming of age, but it has the same indie sensibilities as some the others that Omar likes so I included it anyway.

The Way Way back

Boyhood is the most boring film I've seen since Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
