I’m drained after that 

Emi showed why he is number one in the world , but it’s hard to decide who committed the biggest robbery this week , Villa or Madrid

I’m still stunned by this referee I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so inept and out of his depth in his job since Gordon Brown was PM

Emi cost us with his antics at Brentford and for a moment I thought he had cost us again , but obviously he knew the rules and had it in hand ….It always makes me smile  how aggressive and passionate the French can be when it comes to football … yet when it comes to war they wave the white  flag within days

Ref saved Lille from 3/4 misses with the yellow card nonsense. He needs to be sacked. Disgusting refereeing. Emi is the King of France.

Over both legs he is the sole reason we are in the semi final

We navigated the toughest tie here I think. Bailey MOTM for changing the game, but gave it to Emi obviously by the end of the shoot out. We will never have a more influential goalkeeper in our existence imo, he is a huge factor in driving this club to where we are today. Standards are so high, absolute privilege to watch him week in week out.

This type of game is great experience for this squad. I love this club. Did I mention, Emi Martinez, you are my hero.

Voted Martinez MOTM but to be honest I think Cash is worthy of a shout for weirdly being our only attacking outlet for 80% of the game and scoring an actual goal.
