@StefanAVFC Any hooligan element with these?

Any political affiliation?

And lastly: CONGRATS ON THE NEWBORN!

I can answer this - big hooligan contingent. If you wear a Villa scarf in the city you will likely leave the place without the scarf.

The political affiliation can be described as nationalist/right wing (but happy with socialist public funding). Likely won't whistle at black players (even if they don't like them) , but if you try to put up any rainbow flags you they will have a go at you.

As a person that grew up in a city that hates Legia, all I can say is that their ultras are big. Idiots, trouble makers, but give really good support during games.

Blimey, their fans are absolutely nuts. Be careful if any of you are thinking about going.

To be fair Warsaw is much safer than Birmingham - the above happened a few years ago. Although polish football is very, for a lack of a better word, backwards.

As long as you follow some common sense (like no club colours on main streets) you will be absolutely fine. Wearing Villa scarfs and shirts outside the stadium will cause no issues. There will be police everywhere.

Anyone going to Warsaw will have a great time, it's a real European jewel.

Have beer, have some great food, don't pick on Legia fans. Just stay smart.

I don’t think this will be an easy one. We will need strong characters, I think I’d go with a pretty much full strength team with a few tweaks.

Emi

Cash Konsa Pau Digne

Luiz Bouba

Diaby Tielemans McGinn

Ollie

I'd be looking for pace over physicality here. But I’d go with an extra body in midfield in Tielemans over Bailey. I get people will want to see Duran start but let the game settle down (hopefully we’re a few goals up) and we can introduce him from the bench. I’d like to see Moreno and JJ get some minutes too if possible.

I'd guess the approach will be to respect the fact they're a good side that can't be walked over by making completely wholesale changes, but to also utilise the fact that we've assembled a squad of well-paid, experienced players this season to be able to rotate and deal with the increased number of games.

I'd imagine Lenglet and Tielemans are absolutely guaranteed to start, I'd personally like to see Dendoncker get a chance as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see any of Olsen, Chambers,  Moreno, Bailey, Zaniolo, Duran etc starting in any combination either.

So weird to be considered giants of a European competition. This time 4 and a half years ago we were sitting midtable in the Championship and getting slapped up by Wigan.

A little weird based off how quickly it's turned around.

But it's what it should be.

We are a giant of a team compared to most of Europe and we're going to be even better than we currently are in a few year's.

So, Unai has been in european competitions many times.  What has he done previously regarding rotations?  or strategy?   Does he tend to think safety first and focus on clean sheets?  or did he tend to go for it.  (the way we did at Hybernian)

Yeah, that was the story. Turned out not to be true, the keeper got into some sort of a fight and journos jumped on the Wisła fans.

As I said, polish football is backwards.
