He's been OK. Watkins and Bailey looked like they thought they were still playing Hibs.

Time to drop Ollie and give him the kick up the arse he needs.

Yep, Archer should get the start vs Palace.

Oh..

You can see why one or two of the high profile targets we tried for were reluctant of joining us. I bet if any of them have watched this they'll realise they made the right descision.

Yep seems that way.

Think baileys gone come janaury summer unless he improves greatly.  Can see afew players possibly sold

Simply put we cannot cope with a team aggressively pressing us. Newcastle and Liverpool have. Everton and Burnley haven't. You would think Emery would have them practicing that in training. Maybe he has but practice versus reality are very different.

He never looks like he has confidence though. Being subbed today will have destroyed even the imagination of being confident.

Since he's been here he's not looked like he can handle the size of the club and what it wants to achieve. Doing that hippy-crack stuff during the season and constantly looking frail. He needs to go!

He plays well if there is no pressure from the opposing team. Unfortunately he is lower league or Championship player, no one even sniffing during the transfer window, unlike players like Eze.

either way, we have another option on the bench with prem experience and similar stats to Ty now so he shouldnt be in the starting lineup next week

But Lenglet has only had one training session, and Pau needs games to get up to speed. We have the international break now, not sure if it's good for us or not!

That’s why me and my lad like to back him so much because as you say he looks so fragile mentally even when he’s playing well .

Onwards and upwards boys and girls. Annoying performance but there will be better days. No point stewing over this. Liverpool have been excellent v a very poor Villa. Lots of areas for Unai to get stuck into and work his magic.
