Diaby, Torres, Konsa, Cash, Bidace, Carlos, Mings, Tielemens, Kamara, Negatives (In my opinion) ...Bailey, Buendia(Apart from 1st game when he did well) , Archer, Watkins Luiz I felt was way off it today but is normally decent. Oh..& Brentford are a really flukey team. Watkins is a woeful finisher... should have had a hatrick today... Zero is shocking from those chances. Bailey continues to be quite embarrassing to watch. Brentfordnylons Posted July 30, 2023 Visiting Supporter Share Posted July 30, 2023 Thought it was an entertaining game 2 nil up a bit against the run of play but dreadful defending letting in 3 poor goals when you let a central defender run from the half way line and waltz through the defence then wide open at the back for Cash to leave Hickey for dead and smash home.Better second half when we had some ball winners on the pitch and more like our starting 11.Could have gone either way 14 shots Villa 3 on target with 10 and 3 for the Bees.Good work out for both sides with the season still a couple of weeks away.I would think both managers will be happy with this tournament as there doesn’t seam to have been any serious injuries which is always the worry. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I’ve not seen much of him in Germany but it seemed he played as much through the middle as he did on the wings. The squad building this summer has all been about flexibility and I’m into that.
