I bet this thread would have been getting bumped if it was Pau defending for the 2nd goal and not Konsa though, even though it was 100% on a shocking Tielemans pass. He was a highly rated defender in europe before we signed him, there's a reason for that. There was one time DCL had the ball in the box with Pau on him and it was so simple and easy to just drag it to his left and get a good shot off. He's not quite as good at defending as a couple of our other centrebacks, but he makes up for it in spades with the rest of his game. He looked more composed, more comfortable on the ball and wasn't afraid to bomb forward at times either.
