 we just beat Palace... simples

at the mo, more likely to get 3 points at home against Liverpool than away at Palace, they are flying.

football doesnt work that way though does it, I would love us to beat Palace so all the doomsday preppers have to put their tin hats on, curl up into a ball and cry themselves to sleep

Our league form over the last 6 matches has us joint 8th (with Liverpool).

Arsenal result helped us with that. Without that we’d have 5 points from 5 and that includes playing Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton. 2 shots against a mediocre Brighton team who had 15 shots said it all about how we’re performing, like a relegation team.

We can win one or even both of our last two matches. We are due a bit of luck. Maybe Youri and Morgan can come back. We’ll find a way. These boys have just got to go to the well another two times. Keep the faith Villans.

as we sit here now spurs aside cos i dont think they'll catch our points or goal difference - palace away looks more daunting than liverpool at home, they look decent

Yeah but we’re playing Liverpool, and they play every day, 43 times a day according to Klopp.

But the Arsenal result counts right? Of course it does!!! One of the silliest comments Ive read today but I am sure there will be more 😅

You could just as easily say if we ignore the Brighton result (that didn't help us out) we could have had 11 points from 6!

This is a good point.

Without our other 19 wins this season we'd be in deep shit.

If we discounted all the games where we got points we'd have zero points. Makes you think

According to his analysis I think we might get relegated

So if you take away the good results, we are performing like a worse team.....

Totally, if you ignore all our wins this season then you know, we haven't won a game, Emery out!

Anyone dismissing the notion of tiredness being an issue needs to consider two things.

1) The mental preparation for each game based on the level of analysis Emery and his team drive into the players.

2) The physical fatigue. Spurs have played 38 games so far this season, with 3 to go. Moussa Diaby alone has made 51 appearances. That's a HUGE disparity.

Just for the visual effect

Diaby 51 appearances, Leon, McGinn, Dougie and Ollie 50 appearances, Ezri 47 appearances, Dibu 45 appearances (same for Matty and Youri). Digne's made 43 appearances. The numbers are staggering when you consider the injuries just how many the core squad has competed in.

The atmospheres at some of these European stadiums put us to shame.

Those are the types of atmosphere's you need to drive a team all the way.

Be facetious all you want, we are playing like a team with no quality, desire, fight or hunger at the moment. It’s very sad to see.
