We know Gerrard really rates Ramsey which is fine but we need to change something. Next match I'd start Iroegbunam to be honest and then see how he gets on and bring Nakamba on if he tires.

Buendia must start next match, he offered more in ten minutes than Bailey in the whole match.

The crux of our midfield has been Luiz and McGinn, for some time now, and it doesn't work unfortunately, we have no better in the squad....but we end up playing 3 x 8's with Ramsey.....There's no balance, and no height ( to cut out balls)....They have the same instincts, same nous, same positional sense.....we should have 6-8-10 to create the diversity for the team to work.

Even Sanson and Chuk are essentially 8's

This midfield has been wrong for seasons, now, not months....and I guess, we are all fed up talking about it......but its not going away, until we make it go away.

I'm not saying Luiz or McGinn are bad players.....in a balanced side, they may well look good.....but they have been deployed to do jobs, they are not best suited to.......A good team is about blending and we have not been great at doing that.

If you Look at Brentford and Newcastle as examples.

• Brentford was lightweight under Dean Smith, played some good football, but was inconsistent and unable to sustain title challenges, because of it....Thomas has come in and transformed them in to a physical side, who are hard to play against...a distinctive change in make-up....even the top teams find them hard to play, but they have done it right.....adding guile (Eriksen) to an already durable side.
• Newcastle was Bottom of the league, leaking goals for fun and creating defensive errors aplenty, they were clearly a soft touch.....Eddie brings in 5 players with Defensive Nous, shifts a unit Joelinton in to midfield and now they are hard to beat and picking up wins to boot.

Its not some kind of secret formula where only certain managers are privvy.......You repair/rectify weakness and I think most fans can see where it is.

Its not Rocket Science, We are a lightweight team and are easy to play against, 17 defeats so far, supports that.....we have 1 player over 6 feet, that for me is naive in a league where physicality is rife( but height is just one element in physicality)....Since the referee's have become more lenient to playing the man and not the ball and we have bought 2 more paperweight players in Coutinho and Digne, to add to the others......we are struggling even more.

We have to address this imbalance, if we have any chance of becoming a team that is difficult to beat.....if we keep signing lightweight players, we will keep turning over managers.

Credit to Leicester for making it difficult for us but what is the plan here. How are trying to get the ball from Martinez to Coutinho which I assume is the idea? Why else play Coutinho. We looked like we didn't have a clue, especially in the first half.

There were absolutely individual performances that played a big part in why we looked so clueless with the ball bouncing off Watkins, Bailey and McGinn like it was repelled from them. But most of the time we didn't even get the ball to them.

Coutinho had 25 touches and only made 16 passes with a 68% accuracy (according to Whoscored). And it's not like that tired Leicester team played a blinder on either side of the pitch.

Our issues goes deeper than just getting a couple new players in.

It will only get worse as well if fans get there wish for Luiz to be dropped and Nakamba or McGinn end up going into that position

First away draw of the season. First 0-0 of the season. It wasnt the greatest of games but we got what we needed to stop these far too frequent rots that set in. Clean sheet, 4pts of Lesta this season will do for me. Roll on end of season. Its been a stop start shitter since day 1.

I was texting with a mate who is die-hard Leicester during the game.  I said if we were one of the Sky 6 it would have gone to VAR and been given as a penalty.  No doubt whatsoever.  He said I completely agree.

Yeah I've noticed this too and I was hoping it was while he was coming back from injury. But he's been out-paced by a few players now at this rate. The first I spotted was Livramento. I thought he was a cheat code in terms of pace, like Adama at full pelt, but at very best he just seems to be the top end of normal.

That's not clear intention. He's sliding in to block the ball, I'd like to see you do that with your arms behind your back. It'd have been a ridiculously harsh penalty.
