He played there for Fulham, and was their player of the season, I think. Not much we can do about it, we're down to barebones. It's either in-experienced Tim, or Chambers. I expect we will pay off his contract in the summer as Emery doesn't rate him. He is probably on a good whack, so he is still here. Probably Slippy's best ever tactical decision was to slot him in as DM v Burnley back end of 21/22. Burnley had just won three straight games at the time but they clearly weren't expecting that change. He had a good game and we won very comfortably. Issue is though he was playing regularly in those days and now it's a case of one half of prem football in six months? Will be miles off it against Ward Prowse and Paqueta.
