Ultimately it's Kamara's fault. Martinez didn't make Kamara put his hands there (although I still think it was inconclusive).

It started from there so yes he has to take personal responsibility for his actions but Martinez inflamed everything and there was no need.

Stupid by kam. You knew what brentford were trying and you foolish fell for it boubs

Now a 3 game ban at a vital time of the season

Mcginn also 1 match away fro. A ban. We could be without mcginn and kamara vs united

Ok but it was still Kamara that did what he did.

I'm not saying Martinez wasn't in the wrong, but 100% of the responsibility for the sending off is with Kamara.

Brentford spent all of that last 20 minutes trying to sucker one of our players into getting a red, shame he was the one to take the bait.

He'll learn but losing him for Old Trafford will be a blow especially if McGinn gets booked on Friday.

Really annoying, it's likely to cause a major difficulty at OT for us not to have a specialist DM on the pitch.

Luiz and Tielemans will hopefully be back. McGinn managed himself well on 4 yellows today so can't see why that would be bigger issue v Sheffield United.

Fernandes always turns up v us though so that will be issue not having dedicated DM tracking his runs.

Nah, I have the opposite view.

It's about time we had a bit of shit about us.

Far too long other teams have done that to us and we've bent over and taken it.

It's good to see how close knit this squad is and players standing up for each other.

Brentford tried all game under hand tactics and when it came on top for them they didn't like it.

I lay no blame at Boubs door, Ben Mee is to to blame for that last 30mins, his reckless tackle and then Ghoddos & Maupay being a couple of little pricks turned it into an utter shitshow.

I don't want us to be soft and easy of course, I'm a big advocate for the shithousery and dark arts but at 2-1 up with a man advantage I think we lost our heads far too easily for no real reason.

Just a bit annoyed we'll have Kamara missing for 3 games but it is what it is I guess.

Mate, totally get that.

Kamara will be a big miss but we have Dougie, Youri and Digne coming back so I think we can cope.

That game will have raised a lot of different emotions in people, I don't want to see is dragged down to that level but I want to see us hold our own and we did that.

Right, we may well have Luiz and Tielemans, but they can't do the same role in the same way. We could go really defensive and play Dendoncker but then he moves the ball so desperately slowly. I'm sure this isn't some unsolvable problem for Emery but it's very annoying when it was completely needless.

Boubs has always had a streak of the vicious.  It usually serves us well. He needs to keep an eye on it, but he’s a stunningly scrappy player, and we need that aggression on the pitch. He crossed the line, but it’s going to happen. Don’t bite people, don’t kick them in the balls, don’t touch their necks. But I love him.

Not seen a great replay and i know others have said definite red but did seem a bit harsh? It looked a push around the collar bone. There was at least one push by a Brentord player a few inches lower.

Saw this again. I’ll be stunned if it’s not overturned. He barely touched him. Ridiculous that the punishment should match that attack by Ben Mee.

I don’t think it will be overturned, it’s a really weird rule/law where if, off the ball when play has stopped, your hand touches an opponent’s face, it’s a red card, but if you smash your arm into them during play (Guimares) it’s not seen to be a problem.

Any chance the red is overturned?

If they play the replay from the start of him and the guy he shoved then there’s a chance.

However they’ll focus on his actions only and only the bit where he shoves his neck/chin.
