beasley14
Part of a midfield that just had too much physicality and intensity for City. Fantastic performance.
Tom13
His footwork is insane at times. What a player. Joy to watch.
Mantis
He was immense tonight. We probably would've beat Bournemouth if he wasn't suspended then.
sheepyvillian
Just now, Mantis said: He was immense tonight. We probably would've beat Bournemouth if he wasn't suspended then. I agree. Chindie Posted December 7, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted December 7, 2023 Took the piss tonight. Exceptional. So good he ended up being as attacking as he is the break man, such had we crushed them.
Villa87
Laughable that we picked him and Tielemans up ok a free. Sensational performance. Him and a McGinn second to Bailey for motm.
Wezbid
He showed a more aggressive progressive side to his game today. (Higher up the field) Made it look so easy at times when it was anything but.

OutByEaster? Posted December 7, 2023 Moderator Share Posted December 7, 2023 Dominated the City midfield - a smart, strong, nerveless performance - this is a player of real, real quality.
TheMightyVillans
He is world class when he is on his game. Baller.
TheMelvillan
He's got that intangible unteachable quality where he beats players without any overt trickery or step overs or any of that. Just really subtle body positions and movements that create so much space and confuses opposition. I love watching him. And then when he is defending I have so much confidence that if it is at all possible to win the ball then he will. Again not with raw aggression or big sliding tackles, rather using his reading of the game to just block passing lanes, frustrate the opposition into making a mistakes or with a simple block. Such a good player. He's kinda like our version of rodri where we really really miss him when he isn't playing
