Just because he had a bad shot at goal that doesn't mean he had a bad game. I think though, the slight difference is that many also had the affection for him, and faith in his character to come through in the end, even when it looked most bleak. Funny thing is, I actually thought he was OK against Fulham and had some decent touches today. Perhaps telling (and somewhat backs up your bias point from the Stevie G era) that he came on when the game was waning.
