I hated Bruce by the end of his tenure (as much as one can “hate” a football manager they’ve never met). I suspect I might be in the minority here. Admittedly, I’ve never really warmed to Gerrard. I still feel completely numb and ambivalent towards him. Whether we’re winning 3-0 at Leeds or failing to beat them while they have ten men. Just “meh” more than anything.
