Didiersix
Question is: can we afford to sack him? I wonder how much it will cost. But as others have said, the whole backroom staff looks very 'patchwork', Struggling to see the value added by McPhee, Danks and others.

Popular Post Wurzel
The point is this squad is good enough for mid table. No doubt. Gerrard has managed to make players like Coutinho, Buendia, Luiz, Ramsey, McGinn look very very average. We lack width, and we play without intensity. We are slow to try and exploit weakness in the opposition, which invariably sees us march up to the opponents 18 yard box only to pass it back to the half way line. it clearly doesn't work, and a decent manager would see this, and know that it isn't working, and adapt the shape of the team to accommodate the players strengths. But not Gerrard, he continually criticises the players after games, completely ignoring the fact that he has sent them out and they are carrying out his instructions. Now his big thing is he wants to see "moments of magic" from the attacking players. How can a Premiership manager be so lost, so lacking in ideas, that he is relying on moments of magic to turn things round? he has had 12 months, he has had two transfer windows to build on an already decent squad, he has had his pre-season. Has anything or any single player improved? Time for the owners to take action.

Probably £15-20m comp - but it’s worth it, we cannot gamble any further.

That isnt even a conversation as relegation is a most much costly and quite frankly absolute carnage what happen to the club if that were to happen. Even **** Bournemouth are above us ffs. That shows the level of shite gerrards doing

If he has any ambition to get the Liverpool job, he should just walk for free and say he’s had a disagreement with the board or something. Every game that goes by, his stock falls and if he goes on for another few games and he gets sacked there no coming back for him.

foreveryoung
He's gotta take some credit, making a team like ours in relegation candidates. Also not being able to create against Forest with Buendia, Coutinho on the pitch. He should have some sort of medal just for this surely, it takes some doing.

That would be the right thing to do, but he won’t.

There is already absolutely no chance he will ever coach Liverpool, there's also no chance of him walkng for free...
theboyangel
Hopefully today is the day the club face the harsh reality that their gamble in appointing an inexperienced manager has failed. We cannot continue like this, simple as that. My F5 button will be given a workout today for sure!
