Question is: can we afford to sack him? I wonder how much it will cost. But as others have said, the whole backroom staff looks very 'patchwork', Struggling to see the value added by McPhee, Danks and others.

Probably £15-20m comp - but it’s worth it, we cannot gamble any further.

That isnt even a conversation as relegation is a most much costly and quite frankly absolute carnage what happen to the club if that were to happen.

Even **** Bournemouth are above us ffs. That shows the level of shite gerrards doing

To be fair Bournemouth lost 9-0 to Liverpool and they're above them too

If he has any ambition to get the Liverpool job, he should just walk for free and say he’s had a disagreement with the board or something. Every game that goes by, his stock falls and if he goes on for another few games and he gets sacked there no coming back for him.

He's gotta take some credit, making a team like ours in relegation candidates. Also not being able to create against Forest with Buendia, Coutinho on the pitch. He should have some sort of medal just for this surely, it takes some doing.

Totally - he’s a coward and should resign. That would be the right thing to do, but he won’t.

There is already absolutely no chance he will ever coach Liverpool, there's also no chance of him walkng for free...

Hopefully today is the day the club face the harsh reality that their gamble in appointing an inexperienced manager has failed.

We cannot continue like this,  simple as that.

My F5 button will be given a workout today for sure!

I think he gets the Chelsea game unfortunately and probably Fulham after that.

But why? Nothing will change. The performances aren't improving and show no signs of doing so.

He is a dead duck and we need to jettison him and his team sooner rather than later

Just a cheap player with no salary, so not that much in reality to football finance.

Better use of £20m than letting him buy Sarr when he doesn't even play with wingers...
