This fancy modern coaching is all very well, but if he’s not going to ask the lads to put their boots on and pull up their socks how far are we going to get? Basics Aaron, basics, don’t over complicate things son and you’ll be fine. Tactics are will only get you so far if you haven’t got your boots on and your socks pulled up. Time and a place lad.

As long as he is there or there abouts it will be fine.....

Players lose you games, not tactics. There's so much crap talked about tactics by people who barely know how to win at dominoes.    B)

So you're saying you have to be good at kicking a ball?

Don't forget we have to keep running too, don't stop running!

I'm glad we've addressing issues like this.  Yes Danks has worked with youth before so it'll help the transition to the first team.   It'll also mean money we do spend will go on quality rather than quantity.

Another baggies then!

Errrm has anyone noticed they've been shit for decades 😁

Welcome new coach

the exciting thing for me is that because we've put all this infratsructure in place, because some of the lads will know some of these guys from the england set up, because we won the cup and because we are promoting them to the full team how long will it be before a kid at chelsea or man city says that he'd rather join the villa?

feeney was a big signing and hopefully a sign of whats to come

Exactly. The long-term strategy will pay off in the long-term. No need to panic buy.

The irony of this post lol 😉… IMO you are somewhat correct but then also wrong at the same time. Bruce to pep is night and day but then so are the players at their disposal. ROK may have been well liked but was he at the forefront of modern techniques and training?
