tbut his answer to it is completely wrong, rather than try and mould newer football fans in to understanding what football is all about and trying to encourage them to support juve over barca or man city he wants to pander to them, those who support 2 clubs, those who buy ronaldo and messi shirts rather than club shirts, he doesnt want the die hards, he has to work to earn them, he wants the casuals, he wants that Gen Z or whatever the **** he called them, those that dont care about football to somehow put money in juventus' pocket

Spot on.

He means 'viewers'.

It is actually the players who need to lead the revolt.

Football is nothing without fans, true.  But what is a fan? It's no longer important that the fan grew up in the shadow of Anfield. Their money mainly does come from overseas fans who have never even and probably never will ever go to Anfield.

But what is inescapable is that football is nothing without players.  You can't sub that out to 5m people from the Far East.  The majority of the world's best players need to revolt about this because they are the ultimate block.

Where's that?

Bruno Fernandes posted "Dreams can't be buy" on Instagram on a picture from Daniel Podence opposing the super league. So obviously not a PR firm behind it given the spelling.

If the PL kicked them out immediately we’d be 5th, in the eternal words - make it so.

In theory, but if they booted them out the league surely points gained against them would be revoked. Meaning we’d probably be worse off having beat Liverpool, Arsenal x2, plus maybe more I can’t remember?

it’s a huge mess whatever the outcome!

Quite literally an open goal for the government. Only place Labour can go is further than whatever the government suggests. Grind these owners into the dirt.

And perfect for them - they can't and won't actually do anything as they share the ethos of the owners of the twelve, but they can bluster and posture for the cameras and sound like they care and are concerned. A great way to look good without having to do anything - it's a Johnson dream.

The weakened team arguement explains why they can't stay in the league. Surely?

Technically, that rule was changed so that your whole nominated 25 man squad is now deemed to be of sufficient quality to play in the Premier League. But I'm sure there'll be plenty of other reasons to kick them out.
