Yeah, I think today sees them safe.

Everyone around them are picking up points though.

For me they're not safe until they hit 50 points, probably 51 with their GD.

Bristol, Blackburn, Forest all capable of winning at least two more games this season imo.

Burton maybe will be the team that drop into the bottom 3 at the wrong time but they can grind out draws.

BTW it's mad to think just 22 days ago we had 36 points.

Just look at Wigan on 34 points and all but relegated.

I know there's been plenty of games over the last three weeks but thank goodness we got our act together just in time and can now have a comfortable end to the season and properly prepare for next year.

Should be a straight forward win at VP.

Kiss of death!

We'll find a way to make it difficult i'm sure.

Well a deflected shot off Hogan's arse in the 8th minute of injury time would go down nicely, no?

But it never is, apart from the 5-1

& the 5-0, 6-0 League Cup/Simod Cup home wins in 1988 (we scored 13 goals in 3 games without reply in 6 weeks against them back then).

I remember it well, went to the two home games where even at 6-0 the unwashed sang SOTV. Cabbages.

With the international break if they are going to part with Zola now is the time... #PrayforZola :)

The league table since Zola took over in time for gameweek #22

EDIT : 0.65ppg would be ~30pts over a 46 game season

I've just (sadly for me, and for us) worked out how the teams around them would end up based on all of their avg pts/game since Zola took over, unfortunately this would mean they survive by a couple of points with Bristol City going down, Forest, Blackburn and Burton next......here's hoping for a bit of divine intervention then.

Promising for next year however!

We're in a strange situation where we want them to lose, but not by too many otherwise the owners might pull the trigger.

I'm happy with them drawing tomorrow....and then losing on Tuesday....then drawing the game after that and so on.

The odd plucky draw like the one against Newcastle will give the impression they're on the right track but the reality is they need wins to get clear like we did.

4 draws and I reckon they'll go down. 49 points won't be enough with their GD.
