Jas10 Posted September 7, 2023 Share Posted September 7, 2023 I was overjoyed when he won the Copa America and then the World Cup… and how MASSIVE a part he had to play, such a key factor. I’d go so far as to say that Messi would retire without a single international trophy if it wasn’t for Big Emi. And for those that respect and admire Messi… it was even more delightful (he deserved to win something with Argentina). Emi is Argentina legend and will hopefully be remembered as an Aston Villa legend… we need a team that’s good enough for him to win something on the club side/stage too… We have the manager, we have the GK… who else can step up to the plate?
