Farlz
It's not that serious I love Emi. He's the king of shithousery but we obviously all realise he isn't actually the best goalkeeper in the WORLD right? Come on. It's a bit unfortunate we can never keep clean sheets, so strong at home but seem always gift a goal.
Tom13
I even read it as a positive, as in he's the best goalkeeper in the world and has the award to prove it. Definitely didn't take it as a dig against us
Panto_Villan
It think it’s possible the perception of the media bias against us comes about because people seem intent on taking literally everything as some kind of slight.

Ceemo
Emi finally has conceded a goal for Argentina, ending a run of something like 650 minutes without being beaten.

Tom13
Yeah and he'll be disappointed with letting those in. Both were struck at his legs and both went in. The second one was from closer range though.

Bit short but I'm sure he'll make up for it with his athleticism. Plus -- and I'm looking closely here -- he's got two good feet. Seems to deal with the pressure of the VP crowd v well. OutByEaster? Posted November 22, 2023 Moderator Share Posted November 22, 2023 Could do with him not involved in that - get yourself back in the dressing room, back home and back on the plane Emi.
Popular Post wishywashy
If I had a quid for every time Dibu has been involved in an incident with the Brazilian police during a match for Argentina, I'd have £2: which isn't a lot, but it's strange that it's happened twice. 4

TheAuthority Posted November 22, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted November 22, 2023 Argentina won and now Emi is singing and dancing in front of their fans. Wish he'd just get out of there!

I went to watch a couple of Corinthians and Palmeiras games while I was briefly living in Sao Paulo and seeing all the riot police everywhere, especially the match officials getting escorted on and off the pitch by them, was a real eye opener!
